(More customer reviews)I love this marinade. The first time I used it, I bought very thinly pre-sliced pork. Because I didn't think my kids would like the spiciness, I marinated half the pork in sesame oil and soy sauce and the other half for my husband and me in the Korean BBQ sauce. I marinated it just 30 minutes. I heated the grill to medium heat and used tin foil to cover it. I dumped the meat and sauce onto the foil, and spread it into a single layer. It cooked really fast because the meat was so thin, just a few minutes on each side. Be careful not to cook it on too high a heat because there is a lot of sugar in the sauce and it can burn easily. Anyway, we served this with lettuce leaves and steamed white rice so we could make lettuce wraps. We had grilled garlic and Sam Chang (fermented bean paste which is way more delicious than it sounds) and shredded carrots. The kids loved to make their own wraps at the table. The only problem is that after trying our marinated meat, they devoured it, sauce and all and left us with the sesame-soy meat. Last night, I just did a double batch of the pork and we didn't have a scrap left! This is a terrific sauce that is easy to use and makes a healthy, delicious and fast meal!

(More customer reviews)As far as noodles in a cup goes this is one of the best I've had. Actual recognizable small chunks of dehydrated veggies, mostly mushrooms and onions that I could make out. Descent noodle quality and a very hot and spicy seasoning mix. They don't show it on the picture here but I'm pretty sure this is the hot and spicy cup. It looks exactly like the one I just had but the words 'hot and spicy' are just to the left of the symbol and are not visible in the pic. If you like spicy noodles definitely don't pass this up.

(More customer reviews)I bought this stuff when it was on sale at the store I shop at. It tastes and even looks like a container of ramen cup of noodles. They make the picture on the package look appealing but it doesn't look anything like the product inside. Add hot water and wait 3 minutes......doesn't that sound familar? I'd would never waste my money on this stuff again. I can get 3 containers of ramen cup of noodles for 99 cents and it's the same stuff this is.

As another reviewer stated these are the only bowl ramen that's veggie so there's no worries about beef bone/fat if thats an issue for you. Also, if you're a spice wimp they still taste good with only half the spice packet.

(More customer reviews)If your only ramen experience was a dry, tasteless brick dumped into a pot of bowling water that you purchased six for a dollar, then you are in luck. Once you try a Nong Shim noodle bowl you will never go back to Nissin Top Ramen.
Nong Shim delivers a flavorful instant noodle meal, balancing seasoning and spice for a perfect lunch on a cold, winter day. The noodle bowl has a rich, red broth that is visibly loaded with spices. I've recommended Nong Shim to many people but a few, because of the kimchi flavor, have been hesitant to give it a try. I can attest that Nong Shim's noodles are not as pungent as `fresh' kimchi.
I submitted two product photos. Please give them a look. One shows the ChefsBest Award and endorsements Nong Shim received. Nong Shim is the leading brand of ramyoen (ramen instant noodles) in South Korea.
I recommend adding refrigerator scraps to your noodles; perhaps, whole kernel corn (for sweetness) or some tofu, finely chopped green onions (scallions), chopped, cooked beef, chicken or seafood. An egg is another delicious addition, either hard boiled and chopped or over easy.
One final note: a serving is high in sodium, so skip drinking the soup if that is a concern as the noodles themselves contain little sodium. You can reduce your sodium intake by more than 60 percent if you don't drink the soup.

(More customer reviews)Lots of noodles here. I like the Nongshim brand, it is not like those instant noodles that are mostly packed with air. Once cooked, you will find the noodles brimming to the top.
I just open the lid halfway, pour three-quarters of the seasoning packet, pour some boiling water and then let it stand for 5 minutes. The next time I open it, I give it a little stir and I stare on it for another good 5 minutes.
Try to include some real pieces of chicken or pork meat, some Thai brocolli, and some hard boiled eggs. That's the meal.
