(More customer reviews)I recently tried this brand of Noodle from Amazon. I came away so disappointed, I will be throwing away the rest of the case. I purchase and consume a lot of noodles, and I can say without a doubt this is the worst tasting noodle product I have ever had.
To begin with, the package itself, while attractive to the eye, is built with a thinner cardboard then other noodle bowls. By the time it was done cooking, the bottom half of the bowl was starting to soften up to the point I was afraid the bottom would fall off. It left a wet, slimy spot on my table after I was done trying it. Other noodle bowls use plastic, or a higher grade of cardboard that does not soak up like this.
If you fill the water up to the line, it will also spill out of the bowl during cooking. This left a nice mess in the bottom of the microwave. Since there was way more water than needed, I would recommend, if you still buy this, filling up the water below the line.
Finally the taste was gag inducing. I am not exaggerating at all here. The aroma smelled sour. The noodle itself had a plastic taste. The seasoning was so mild, it did nothing to hide the sour noodle. I had to spit out my second mouthful, unable to swallow. The broth, or soup, in the bowl tasted like water, because the seasoning adding nothing. They advertise it as a low fat food, but that does not explain the taste.
Avoid this noodle at all cost.
