(More customer reviews)I bought this at a Wal-Mart as a close-out, now it HAS to be in my cabinet!! Try this....I am not one to measure.. I add to taste so you can do the same..these are approximate:
2-4 Ribeyes
1/4-1/2 cup Dukree Steak dust
1/4 cup red cooking wine
1/8-1/4 cup white vineger
1/8 cup minced garlic
1/4-1/2 cup Olive Oil (Which ever you prefer)
1 cup water
1-2 tsp california Garlic power
Mix all ingredients in a zip lock bag and mix well. if you have meat tenderizer or fork tenderize before adding to ziplock. let marinade at least 30-40 min. best overnight!! remove add favorite season ( more steak dust(litely) and grill..... My family and friends think I am a Awesome cook!! enjoy!!

Can replace some or all of the salt for different recipes. Price here at Amazon is a deal since I do use enough of this for the 12-pack.

(More customer reviews)Our 11-month-old boy is going through his teething stage (4 uppers and 2 lowers, so far). We're now feeding him a mixture of foods some of which we get in the store and some of which we make ourselves. Some of his foods just come off of our plates. One of the store products we use are the Gerber 2nd Foods meats. They come in chicken, beef and lamb. For some reason our boy doesn't particularly like like the chicken, so we've mostly used the beef and lamb. The lamb is harder to find.
I'm amazed at how fast the kid will go through baby food. We seem to be running to the store all the time. Well, this time, in order to simplify my life somewhat, I just got a 12-jar pack. This helps. He likes it, so there will be no problem with ending up with a bunch of stuff he won't eat. Plus we supplement it with a variety of other foods. Personally, I'd rather feed him more of the stuff we prepare ourselves, but our lives are just too complicated.

(More customer reviews)As a spice mix fan, I make a point of trying multiple products on food - both fun and fattening in equal measure! I've also highlighted what I think are the standout mixes in Chef Tom's line: Chef Tom Douglas Rub With Love Salmon Rub and Chef Tom Douglas Rub With Love Chicken Rub.
That said, this mix is a delicious treat, but it doesn't hold the attention of the taste buds like the standouts. The primary notes are supposedly ancho chiles and smoked paprika, but overall the tastes are muddled and don't provide a 'zing' to the dish.
It's a very tasty addition on multiple items such as tri-tip and pot roast but not enough to justify the gourmet price. It is also too heavy a mix to work well on chicken, fish, or to drizzle over a meat-pasta dish.
Note: Surprisingly, the best pairings from Chef Tom for red meats are either the Chef Tom Douglas Rub With Love Pork Rub or a generous portion of Chef Tom Douglas Rub With Love Chicken Rub.

I always made from scratch, but I believe this is even better. Unless I tell them, no one knows it wasn't made from scratch. So easy, and can use it for pork sausage, chicken, even ground beef. If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you are missing. Good price, best taste.

For some reason, the supermarkets in this area, particularly Walmart in Klamath Falls, don't carry Armour any more. I'm happy I found a source of supply, since I live in a remote, rural area. The largest "city" in this area is less than 2,000 population.

I always use the oven as directed to heat it and it always comes out soooo tender and tasty. Omaha Steaks has a great reputation but a few of it's food items are just not that great.....except this one....I love it despite the relatively high cost. Make sure you buy all the additions (greens, beef slices, bean sprouts, hot peppers, siracha, hoison sauce, etc...)
Only thing I would modify is to add more water. It's a little salty for my taste. Water it down. So, one package suggests 2 gallons of water...I would add an additional gallon of water. Or whatever you like to get it just right.
But it is awesome, it's got the aroma of Pho, it's semi-oily at the top of the broth...I mean...good, good, good!!!

(More customer reviews)Despite what some think there is a ton of fillers in here (see the ingredient list on the Omaha site), but.... that is not a bad thing in this case. They are not unhealthy fillers and these are very delicious. Our kids just love them. We serve one ball as a serving as that is the perfect healthy carb portion for a meal. 1 piece has the following nutrition just in case you are wondering:
Calories: 120
Fat: 4.5
Trans Fat: 0
Sodium: 270
Carbohydrate: 17
Protein: 3
For our dinners we try to keep our carb side to under 5 fat & 25 carb. This fits perfectly & the taste is superb. Baked in the oven, they come out crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. All with no grease. We now keep these on hand instead of french fries. I know they cost more, but they taste better and they are so much healthier. We wait for one of the sales and buy several boxes at a time.

Chicken breast size is nice and cooks up well, but the artichoke parmesan oozes out during cooking and makes a mess. Most all of the stuffing oozes out and leaves a bland (and horribly expensive) chicken breast.
Omaha Steaks offers the Chicken Cordon Bleu which is better for both the tastebuds and wallet.

I ordered pork and salmon from Omaha Steaks and they were individual vacume packed and uncooked. I have looked everywere, thinking that I missed it, but there is no indication on this site that these are precooked; heating via microwave is not an option since it ruins the meat and why would I use an oven to heat up one chicken breast. Very disappointed!!!

(More customer reviews)I adopted two very undernurished kittens from the Humane Society, whose on-staff vet said that AvoDerm dry and canned food is the best on the market for cats. When I took the kittens for their vet checkup 6 months later, my own vet also agreed that this is the best food available and was so pleased with the health of the kittens. My older cats have also seen a huge improvement in their coats -- much more silky and shiny, shedding is reduced and their weight is easily maintained on this food. I recommend trying this food if you have finicky cats or they have health problems.
My cats absolutely LOVE all the Avoderm Select Cuts (chunky-style) flavors AND all the flavors of this pate-style food. The seafood flavors seem to be the most popular among the cats, but many vets recommend avoiding too much seafood for male cats due to the urine crystals it can cause. I started feeding the beef and chicken exclusively and they eat every last drop.
Bottom line: It costs more than your average food, but it's worth every penny (buying it by the case can give you a pretty good discount from most vendors). If you consider that it keeps them healthier, which can save you from expensive vet bills in the long run, then it's worth it. Plus, think of the time you'll save not having to clean up after their shedding! Also, I've noticed that this brand does not result in the runny, smelly poo that some other, cheaper brands do. Try this food out on your cats -- you'll be pleasantly surprised.

It's so convenient to make -- just boil the amount of water you need and add the appropriate amount of base. It blends quickly too. No more undissolved bouillon pebbles in the bottom of the broth!
We're a family of 2 so I was worried that they'd go bad on me before I had a chance to use it all, but I've had open jars stored in the fridge for a few months at a time and have never had a problem. I've also purchased the chicken base and am just as pleased. Wonderful products!
