Nature's Variety Instinct Lamb Formula Canned Cat Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This food is not only healthy for cats, but they love it too!
I started looking for an all life stage food when I got a kitten to befriend my year old cat. Feeding two cats seperately (kitten and cat food) is just not going to work for me. I also had to ween my cat off Science Diet (aka crack cat food). Feed the best you can afford, and the best they will eat...easier said than done.
We tried Wellness, Solid Gold, Avoderm, etc. Some they hated totally, and some didn't seem so healthy. I learned alot about cat food. Just read the ingredients! Cats are carnivores, and corn should not be in the top five ingredients...or at all.
We have tried several flavors, and
They hate Duck (looks gross too!)
They will nibble Rabbit and Chicken
Lamb they gobble up : )
(P.S. They will eat the Prarie wet foods, but not very much. Also, I feed Innova's EVO dry food.)

Breeder's Choice Pinnacle Peak Protein Chicken & Ocean Fish Formula Dry Cat Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I used to feed both of my cats a different brand name cat food that was supposed to be for those kitties with sensitive tummies, and it was okay, but this Pinnacle cat food has the other brand beat hands down.
We have been feeding our cats this food for about a year now and we have been having a lot fewer instances of upset tummies compared to the incidents we were having prior to switching over to this brand of cat food.
Both of our cats love it even though only one of them has a sensitive tummy issue. Initially, it took a couple of weeks of mixing the old cat food with the new Pinnacle cat food and then slowly eliminated the old cat food until they were just eating the new Pinnacle cat food. Now my cat will stick his head in the bowl and eat a hole to the bottom before working his way around the edges of the bowl. Quite funny to watch actually! Ha Ha Ha
My other cat is a strange one indeed, he will get a mouthful of food and then walk a couple of steps away from the bowl, drop the food onto the ground and the proceed to eat it from the ground. Not quite sure what is going on with that.
Anyhow, I would highly recommend this brand of cat food for your kitty if he or she has a sensitive tummy. And don't worry about the price; it is an investment in the health of your furry four-legged children, as all of us good parents know. And if you haven't already purchased one of these for your kitty Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain, be sure and do so, it is the absolute best cat water fountain on the market at this time.

Pro Plan Total Care Chicken and Liver Canned Kitten Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got two kittens at approximately the same time. One was a failure to thrive kitty with a comromised immune system and one was a "Hey let's go eat everything in the kitchen and see how big we can get" kitten. At the time I got them from Foster Care, both wighed 5 pounds. The failure to thrive kitty was 7 months old and the "go get um" kitty was 3 months old.
I went to a lot of trouble to get "kitten food as I felt it would meet the nutritional needs of both animals so both would have the optimum chance to grow and and become as strong as possible. Both had been eating dry food in their foster homes. Both were male and I felt both should have more water in their diets to prevent urinary tract problems. Besides, most cats inhale wet food if they have been on that "dry stuff" for any lenghth of time. Neither cat would eat it. I finally fed it to the feral cats that live in the area. The ferals seem to have estabished a good "feel sorry" for them "old ladies cat group" who leave food out on a non-scheduled basis. When the ladies remember to put it out , they do, and the ferals just seem to have a scouting system set up to check out the "route" daily and see who has food out. I am the "old lady who fed them cases of kitten food because my cats would not touch it. So--maybe other cats or kittens might like it. The ferals scarf it down, but not my guys who are not notably picky, but do have favorites. Mine would rather eat a 38 cent can of anybrand seafood feast than this. The failure to thrive guy now weighs 8 pounds and "Mr. eat the kitchen" weighs 10. All is well.

Go Natural Chicken, Fruit & Vegetable Cat Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had my male cat on this food awhile back and he not only liked it, he seemed to do very well on it. I have tried everything from Acana, Wellness, Wellness Core, Innova, and a bunch of other cat foods and my cats did not do well on them. In researching cat foods, I discovered wet food is ideal and that carbs are bad, as they can cause diabetes, UTI, etc. My male cat has had 2 UTI's on other high carb foods. So now I've been trying grain free foods and making one of their meals canned food each day. But it is too costly to feed 3 cats only canned every day, so I want to split half dry half wet. I am torn between buying this food, which my cat did well on, or trying the grain free, which I don't know how they will do on. I was tempted to try EVO, but now I think it may actually be too high in protein. So I'm going to buy either this one or the grain free Go Natural cat food today. I'll probably try the grain free.

Honest Kitchen Prowl, Grain-Free Dehydrated Raw Cat Food w/ Chicken, 2 Pound Box Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I would like my cats to eat raw or raw freeze dried, but they can't stand the smell. I tried Prowl, mixed with water as I want my kitty to get more fluids, and they drank it just fine. I had even tried some of the other canned high protein/no starch type foods mixed with water and they didnt want that either. Of course they loved the bad kinds of wet food. Prowl was the first "good" kind of cat food I could get them to eat.

Avoderm Natural Kitten & Adult Chicken Formula Canned Cat Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I adopted two very undernurished kittens from the Humane Society, whose on-staff vet said that AvoDerm dry and canned food is the best on the market for cats. When I took the kittens for their vet checkup 6 months later, my own vet also agreed that this is the best food available and was so pleased with the health of the kittens. My older cats have also seen a huge improvement in their coats -- much more silky and shiny, shedding is reduced and their weight is easily maintained on this food. I recommend trying this food if you have finicky cats or they have health problems.
My cats absolutely LOVE all the Avoderm Select Cuts (chunky-style) flavors AND all the flavors of this pate-style food. The seafood flavors seem to be the most popular among the cats, but many vets recommend avoiding too much seafood for male cats due to the urine crystals it can cause. I started feeding the beef and chicken exclusively and they eat every last drop.
Bottom line: It costs more than your average food, but it's worth every penny (buying it by the case can give you a pretty good discount from most vendors). If you consider that it keeps them healthier, which can save you from expensive vet bills in the long run, then it's worth it. Plus, think of the time you'll save not having to clean up after their shedding! Also, I've noticed that this brand does not result in the runny, smelly poo that some other, cheaper brands do. Try this food out on your cats -- you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Pro Plan Canned Cat Food, Kitten Classic Chicken and Liver Entrée (Pack of 24 3 Ounce Cans) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I admit, one of the reasons i buy this kitten food is that it's relatively cheap. Not dirt cheap, which is good, because i don't entirely trust the people who can make kitten food so inexpensively. What're they putting in there?
Anyway, it's pretty cheap as kitten food goes. It also doesn't smell awful, a problem i've had with some other wet pet foods. The kittens devour it, which is also good.
But best of all, it doesn't upset their tummies, so i don't have to clean up nasty messes.

Felidae Cat and Kitten Formula Chicken, Turkey, Lamb, and Fish Meals Dry Cat Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We originally got this for our Bengals, it was what the breeder recommended. Then, we found two kittens only a day old on the street and adopted them.
After they were weaned they took to this stuff like gangbusters. Now, they are both 20 plus pound monster kitties. Never sick a day in their lives, glossy coats, full of energy.
Picky cats love Felidae, it is full of healthy ingredients. Obviously, however, it's not the best food for cat weight control! Now the boys are on a "light" cat food, and they aren't quite as happy.
So, I suggest this for Bengals or cats who need to put on a few pounds.

Diamond Naturals Dry Food for Adult Cats, Active Chicken and Rice Formula, 6 Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)this is the highest animal protein % rice bound kibble on the market. It's low dust 3/8" round shape will work perfectly in any mechanical food dispenser. I would argue that for cat consumption, whole grains is pointless for rice, and organic is pointless with chicken. Diamond Naturals Dry gives your cat honest well balanced nutrition and cat health specific additives without all the high priced human diet marketing gimmicks and fancy packaging. it arrived intact from Amazon in a non resealable thick mil plastic bag with a 9 month good till use date, so figure on needing a gallon volume container for every 3 pounds of this kibble.
