(More customer reviews)We used to feed our first 2 cats Country Pet frozen food since it was THE next best thing to a natural raw diet for cats. Then we added 3 more to the clan and our freezer couldn't hold the required amount for 5 kitties.
So with the help of our holistic vet and a bit of research we found EVO. (CANNED ONLY) It's the next best thing if you don't have the freezer space for Country Pet....or making your own.
Our cats love it and they also enjoyed the 95% Chicken & Turkey canned. They inhaled the duck sample EVO I gave them when I came across the new flavor. It's much more expensive than the original formula.
They have super shiny coats and each are at their healthy weight. We have a 10 yr old, 7 yr old and three 3 yr olds (brothers). Happy cats and owners. I've turned many friends onto EVO and Country Pet and everyone has had amazing success with the health of their pet. :)
I've found a case of 13 oz EVO for as low as $18.75 and as high as $27.

(More customer reviews)I was quite disappointed with the extremely short dating on the dry cat food product shipped. It was bad enough to have to swallow the thought of paying that much for shipping, but to find a one month "best by" dating on an 8lb bag of dry cat food that I will only be feeding to one cat was rather irritating. If my kitty wasn't so picky, and local pet store shelves continuing to have it on indefinite backorder I certainly would have optioned it. Live and learn....always get specifics on food product dating. Don't assume.

(More customer reviews)I admit, one of the reasons i buy this kitten food is that it's relatively cheap. Not dirt cheap, which is good, because i don't entirely trust the people who can make kitten food so inexpensively. What're they putting in there?
Anyway, it's pretty cheap as kitten food goes. It also doesn't smell awful, a problem i've had with some other wet pet foods. The kittens devour it, which is also good.
But best of all, it doesn't upset their tummies, so i don't have to clean up nasty messes.

Purina ONE Chicken & Rice Formula for Cats Review

It has almost the same ingredients and has the same levels of vitamins. The transition was quick. I don't think he even noticed. If you're looking for a LIFElong replacement, I'd recommend it.

With my first litter, one little girl just would NOT be weaned. I went to the pet store and bought one can of each kitten food they had. (The clerk at the store mentioned this brand was her cat's favorite).
Chicken Soup brand was not only the cheapest of the quality brands, it was paws down favorite of all 3 kittens! The girl started eating immediately.
I got the second group when they were a bit older. One girl was picky, but not when it came to this food! Again, they were all crazy about it and thrived.
Now I have a sickly little tyke. She loves this food and is improving immensely.
I'm just thankful I have this nutritious, affordable food available.

She is 17 years old and has lost so many teeth that dry food was becoming too difficult for her to eat. After two years of serving her "wet food" I never made a distinction among the different brands of wet food until recently. I always buy different brands of wet food, and she seems to enjoy the ones from a packet rather than a can. However today, with WHISKAS, after devouring a whole packet, she wanted another one. Not only that, but she licked the plate entirely clean. She kept begging for more and I finally gave in to her wishes. I was very surprised when I just went to look at her plate because she consumed an entire second package. I better check this out with her vet. She is not overweight, but I don't want to overfeed her.
