She used to be a finicky eater with a sensitive stomach. On Wellness - no problems, and she's very healthy. Only down side is I couldn't find it anywhere around where I live. (More customer reviews)My boston terrier/english bulldog puppy's coat became shiny on this food, his breath smelled good, his gas wasn't stinky, and the food appears to have excellent ingredients. However, after over a month of eating Wellness, his stool never became firm (which it was on whatever cheap food he was eating at the breeders). It alternated between runny and mushy. I'd read similar reviews on various websites, but decided to try it anyway (everyone's experiences are different). Although I have no way of knowing this, I wonder if some of the fancier dogfoods overdo it with the flax and greentea---it would certainly give me the runs. Anyway, I think it's a good food and may work well for some dogs, but we've had to transition off of it to Merrick puppy plate, which, although it has similar ingredients, seems to be firming up the poop.

It has really high quality ingredients such as turkey, chicken, turkey meal, chicken meal, potatoes, and herring meal, without fat in the first four ingredients, which apparently can lead to bloat. I've been feeding my 60 pound Weimaraner this food for about two months and the bag still isn't gone. My dog has been gaining weight over that time as well. We have fed her Timberwolf Organics and Go! Natural Grain Free Endurance Formula before this and those were great as well. With this food, we don't have to feed her as much, so this food is a very good value, cheaper overall than Timberwolf because of the reduced feeding. However with this food and unlike the others, her stools have been small, hard, and consistent, which is very nice for me.
I purchased from J-B Wholesale Pet Supplies which had very reasonable prices and shipping costs. I bought three bags and the shipping was the same, so my shipping costs were around $1.50 per bag. Two downsides were that shipping was slow and I didn't get a tracking number until I called J-B Wholesale.

I did a lot of research before choosing my cat's food for obvious reasons--he's my pet, I'm responsible for what he eats, and I want him to be as healthy as he can possibly be. My cat is on the following eating program, and I swear he looks like he's on steroids--except in a very lean and healthy way. He doesn't overeat, so I always keep Wellness Complete Health dry food in his bowl, and he just snacks on it from time-to-time throughout the day. Every morning, he gets a small can of the Wellness canned food, I switch up the flavors, but his favorite is the Salmon/Beef. Sometimes he eats most of it in one sitting, sometimes he eats it throughout the day. For snacks, he gets Whole Life brand freeze-dried chicken or salmon, sometimes dry, sometimes I run hot water over the chunks. I recommend this program to anyone who loves their cat. My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat and he's in extremely good shape. He seems sharp and alert, his coat is incredibly shiny and silky, and he just looks very, very healthy and happy. I attribute most of this to his diet. The best cat food on the market.

I love it because her allergies have cleared up, I feel like I am feeding her something healthy, and her body is digesting most of it (don't have to clean up as much). I looked at most natural foods but she is allergic to salmon, lamb and carrots. That eliminated most of the options out there. I was so glad to find this food. I am not paying much more than I was when I was feeding her PetsMart's food and I am getting so much more.

(More customer reviews)I switched to this food when my cocker spaniel was having stomach problems and vomiting often. I found that the Nutro Ultra had gluten in it and other foods we had tried had a lot of grain. She is thriving on this food and has no problems anymore. She is a high energy 3 year old and her coat is beautiful since we switched. I do not give this food to our 10 year old cocker. I think that the protein level and calories are too much for an older dog, although your vet would be better able to help you make that choice.

Wellness 95and#37; Chicken Adult Canned Dog Food Review

(More customer reviews)Even though this is 95% chicken, it looks like cat food (ground up texture) and smells like stinky canned chicken. It's a very strong smell! My dogs go NUTS for this, though (1 Labrador and 2 Boston Terriers). I just add a couple spoonfuls as a topper to their dry food, so one can lasts awhile. I probably will try something less smelly next time but I like the quality of the ingredients and like the Wellness brand.
