And the next day she threw up right under the kithchen counter! GROSS!!!!! And then when we took her to the vet we showed her the treats and she said SHE HATES THEM.

More recently, he was diagnosed with a heart murmur and is on a fairly strict diet. I bought this product, hoping that he would eat it, but expecting for him to turn up his nose. To my happy surprise, he absolutely loves them and I have to keep a supply in the house!!! His vet has also approved of them, so everyone is Happy!!!

(More customer reviews)I have yet to find another treat that didn't contain a laundry list of ingredients. My dog (a pug) absolutely loves these treats, and I feel good feeding them to him. I love the size of these discs so you can give them more than one or two and feel that it's an appropriate amount. They are recognizably little slices of chicken (the large ones, as well) and only have positive additives (flax seed which is good for their hair and skin) and Vitamin E (the same). The company is very responsive to inquiries, which rest my mind.
I don't feel that the 1 star rating is fair at all, nor do I agree with it in any shape or form. If the writer is concerned about goods made in China ad is boycotting them all together, they should take a look at more than just their dog food before writing reviews. Also, people who have not bought this product should NOT be submitting reviews. Save your time for something you have actually tried! I personally would rather feed my dog a treat made in China, where the company is willing to send me information about their process, than a bi-product, corn-meal filler American-produced treat that won't give you information.

We have purchased Robbie Dawg treats in the reusable jars (cute gifts!) and reusable tins (these are great too for travel). This version of the product came in a box with a sealed inner plastic bag. Which is fine except the inner plastic sealed bag on the last two boxes we have purchases comes ripped open. All the treats fall out in the bottom of the box. I ended up transferring them to another container.
They do not contain wheat or any animal by-products. Very healthy dog treats and our dogs seem to love them!!

(More customer reviews)Freeze dried liver has a hypnotic effect on dogs. They LOVE it and will do just about anything for it, so it is a great treat to use for training. (Powdered freeze dried liver is even added to many dog medicines nowadays-- heartworm and arthritis tablets, etc.-- because it causes the dog to scarf the medicine down like a treat.)
Freeze dried liver has a dry, hard, yet powdery/easy to chew consistency. It comes chopped/cubed. It is extremely lightweight due to the fact there is so little moisture in the product (thus the low weights on product labels).
Even though your dog will love liver treats, you shouldn't overfeed it. The manufacturer recommends 1-2 cubes daily for small dogs, 2-3 cubes for medium dogs, and 3-4 cubes for large dogs.
The largest package sizes of liver treats tend to be far more economical. I recommend buying the larger tubs, as you will save lots of money, you'll have a handy treat supply around for a longer time, and your dog will never tire of this product.
There is really zero waste with this product. When you near the end of the tub you'll find some powdery bits of dried liver at the bottom. Your dogs will go CRAZY if you sprinkle this dust over their dog food-- it's a wonderful reward that is easy to use.

I've always liked the Zukes offerings and so do my pooches. When I noticed they made a product called turkey 'n taterz, I had to buy it so my girls could try it. Evie the bichon loved them right away and gobbled several of the flat-bottomed, oval treats in short order. Ever the fussy one, Piper the shih tzu had to be cajoled and had to see if Evie liked them. After her first taste, Piper was a convert soon begging for more.
The crunchy treats come in a convenient small size, but have an indentation in the middle so that one can more readily break them in two for dainty dogs who like small bites. (Namely Piper the shih tzu)
Made with USDA turkey and fresh potatoes, these wholesome treats are bound to get the attention of spudophiles everywhere. Give them as treats or rewards or sprinkle them on the dinner plate for those reluctant fussy eaters. (See Piper above)

Great product for training dogs! I use them all the time for training (walking on a lead, sitting, fetching). They are high in flavor so even with our 7 month Golden Retriever, treats cut in half work well for a reward. Unlike dog kibble or other treats, these are quickly digested so that your dog will not be gagging on them as he/she works on the next behavior. To keep fresh, keep bag tightly closed and put a portion of the cut treats in a resealable sandwich bag. If they do get exposed to air and dry out, a small portion of a moistened paper towel in the bag will restore them to original texture.
