(More customer reviews)...is because a major ingredient that ruins it is soy sauce. You just don't think of sweet and sour sauce as being salty. Instead of throwing it away or returning it to the supermarket where I bought it from, I mixed one part of the Kikkoman Sweet & Sour Sauce to one part honey to make it taste better. I bought it just to try something different but I'll never buy it again. I'll just stick with the La Choy Sweet and Sour Sauce which also does NOT contain high fructose corn syrup.

Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce - 2/40oz Review

In 1985, my brother, Chef Larry Raymond, perfected the family's recipe and entered our sweet and tangy barbecue sauce into the country's largest rib cook-off. He named it after the nickname I got while playing basketball on Chicago's West Side - "Sweet Baby Ray". The sauce is so fine, the taste beat out nearly 700 entries in the rib-off. Not "screaming" hot, but just right for those who like a bit of a "kick" to their sauces. Highly recommend for chicken. Also excellent on pork.

The most delicious sauce from Thailand. Mae Pranom is the true original brand known to all Thai people and offered in corner stores & vendor carts throughout the country. Mae Pranom dipping sauce is more robust and has slightly higher chile heat than Mae Ploy brand (Mae Ploy brand is more familiar outside of Thailand due to marketing). Especially delicious as a dipping sauce for any kind of chicken, but also goes well with shrimp, fish cake, spring roll, sausage etc. We love this sauce and highly recommend it. Packed in a beautiful glass bottle with attractive label, Mae Pranom is a very large producer employing the highest quality standard. Product of Thailand.

(More customer reviews)I'd recently asked some online friends in a food forum what they thought the best bottled barbecue sauce is. Four out of five of them mentioned
"Bone Suckin". I was NOT disappointed! It is not a thick gloppy sauce clogged up with corn syrup as most of the supermarket brands (Hunts, Kraft, etc) are. The flavor is complex. It is not too sweet, not vinegary, and with just a modicum of spice heat to keep it interesting, and so it tastes like barbecue. I've even used it in kitchen cooking (as opposed to grilling) and people commented on the great taste.
I bought it from Amazon, but Whole Foods also carries it.

It is the the tangiest, tastiest sweet and sour sauce, and has the perfect consistency. It sticks to whatever you dip it in and you really 'taste' the wonderful flavor. It is spectacular on pork chops, but you can use it for whatever you might like a sweet and sour sauce on. It is also terrific on broccoli. I recommend this sauce highly!

(More customer reviews)I read the nine reviews that preceded me and wondered how a product depending on a person's taste could consistently receive five stars. Is something suspicious here?
Nope! Here's the tenth five-star rating in a row, and I'm tough. This is the best sauce of its kind (or any kind) I've ever had; and I'm an old guy who's been around. Just the right sweetness, just the right hotness. I'd love to soak a chicken in it, as well as dip egg rolls and chicken nuggets.
These big bottles won't last and I'll be back for more, fer shure. Absolutely more than worth worth the little price, this stuff should be standard in every home, along with plumbing.
And my sincere apologies to those other reviewers for doubting you.

Why only four stars? Because I found a sauce even better, the Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce. However, who wants only one of this general category of sauce? These two are quite different and both delicious. Make your egg rolls really, really happy with both.

When they have stomach problems, this product is the only way to get any nutrition into them, short of hospitalization and an IV drip. When they are not having stomach problesm, they torment their owners by refusing to eat much of the time (I know, I know, they won't allow themselves to starve to death, but I'm not going to conduct that experiment to find out if FOR SURE they won't). Add a scant teaspoon or even only three fourths of a scant teaspoon of chicken and rice or chicken and veggies, and PRESTO (sort of) they will eat, at least enough for me to stop catastrophizing. Reasonably priced at this site, and the shipping was prompt.

(More customer reviews)My twin 10-month old babies treat this one as dessert. Their first Earth's Best jar they loved was straight sweet potatoes. After water, sweet potatoes are the first ingredient in this one, followed by apricot puree. That's dessert for them right there. After that comes the chicken and then brown rice flour (not as good as brown rice though).
This is a meal that babies around the age of mine are probably almost all going to love instantly. Almost all babies love sweet potatoes for starters. Add apricot puree and there's really not much one could do to discourage babies after that. I recommend this flavor brand.
Ingredients per label: Water, organic sweet potatoes, organic apricot puree, mechanically separated organic chicken, organic brown rice flour.
The rice flour absorbed the water and gave it a real nice consistency, and the sweet potatoes gave it a nice color.
Nutrition per label: 80 calories, 15% protein, 90% vitamin A, 2% vitamin C, 2% calcium and 6% iron.
This one had the most vitamin A of all Earth's Best jars I've tried. I've been informed that the percentage of daily needs met is based on an adult.
