How i became the sauce goddess. the sauce goddess story begins with my dad. he loved to barbecue and i loved to help him. he was on a mission to create a non-smoky bbq sauce because there was nothing available on the market back then but now there is because of sauce goddess!dad was a pioneer in the sauce industry and did not even know it. his grilling sauce is famous among our family and friends. after years of helping dad, my love for grilling and cooking grew. my favorite place was the kitchen or behind the grill creating all types of recipes. i would experiment on my family and friends. everyone loved the magic sauce and it began to build a reputation. finally, after much encouragement and many dares from friends, i knew my mission was to bring dad’s very unique sauces to the world and start a food company. by this time i was following in dad’s steps creating my own sauces! i have no idea how it started but people began to refer to me as the "sauce goddess”. the sauce goddess line of products now includes: sauces: sweet & spicy grill glaze, sticky sweet grill glaze, gluten free big & tangy sauce and the sweet red devil sauce. spice rubs: original super chunk, bbq sweet heat, moroccan twist and latin heat. sauce goddess is very proud of the success and awards we've won but our biggest accomplishment is helping busy people enjoy delicious, healthy, affordable and innovative home cooked meals quick and easy whether it be on the grill or in the kitchen.

(More customer reviews)What else can I say but YUMMY! Wow, this chili set is a great idea for anyone who likes at least one of these products. With 8 bottles this set is a steal; and I was not swindled on the size of the bottles. My boyfriend is absolutely addicted to the Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce, he uses it on everything! Probably I could have used a gallon of that. Mae Ploy is the perfect combination of sweet and heat if that's what you are looking for. The rest is mine! All mine! Well, mostly... My boyfriend is not quite as much of a pepper belly as I am; I love the heat that for sure! I'm also addicted to garlic and I have a choice of having the Chili Paste with or with out garlic... which is nice.

Huey Fong Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce (28oz) Review

(More customer reviews)I'm a bit of spice hound and have flirted with other hot sauces before, but nothing has ever seized hold of me like Sriracha. An old Greenwich Village burger joint near where I worked at NYU used to serve it on the tables with popcorn and the combo was killer. The memory haunted me for years before I finally picked up a bottle. I shouldn't have waited. This stuff is amazingly addictive with a garlicky sweet hot yumminess that's hard to describe. It sits on my table in front of the salt and pepper and I've drained a bottle in a 3 month period. Incredible on eggs, superb on burritos, utterly transforms dull dietetic chicken vegitable dishes from the Chinese restaurant. I put a squirt in the health low-sodium soups instead of more salt and all of a sudden all the flavors perk up. Utterly highest recommendation.
I, personally, do not buy the 28oz size - even though it's almost the same price as the 17oz size. (it's not a total freebie - Shipping is a bit higher on the 28oz). While Sriracha has preservatives and doesn't need refrigeration it does oxidize a bit and at the pace I use it the bottom third of the 28oz gets a bit stale for me, while I suck the 17oz down while it's still fresh. If I lived in a house with more spice hounds (I'm the only one around here) or if I were cooking with it more often in larger recipies the 28oz would be a big bargain.

It is an excellent spice to sprinkle on top of ramen, fish, grilled chicken skewers, okonomiyaki, and any other food you'd like to add a little fire to.
Shichimi doesn't just bring heat. It adds texture, flavor, and a small amount of added nutrients from the seeds in the mixture. Shichimi in Japan usually contains hemp seed as one of the 7 ingredients, which gives the spice a good crunch. For export to the US, this ingredient has been replaced. Aside from that, this is a true taste of a Japanese favorite.
Be sure to put the cap back on tightly after use so that no moisture gets into the bottle. When that happens, the powdered ingredients will start to stick together and become difficult to shake out of the hole.

(More customer reviews)I had heard of ghost chilis for years before finally having the nerve to try Dave's Insanity. I was amart enough to try it in the dead of winter (California gets 40-ish, not too cold). My first encounter with dipped chicken wings still broke me in a running sweat. I could not feel my tongue anymore, and I suffered the after-burn for thirty minutes tnereafter. Tearing was constant over that half hour span.
I would recommend diluting this monster and not using it as a dip, like I did. Use an eye dropper to measure out Dave's sauce with your favorite barbecue recipe. You will be shocked by how little of Dave's your system can tolerate.
All this dilution is a pity because there is a definite flavor to this touch of lava. At present, I can consume an entire plate of barbecue or wings with about 20% of Dave's Insanity. Actually, one of the best uses of hot sauce is a tiny dlution of Dave's with your salad dressing.
I do love spicy, but there is one drawback to a plate of Dave's. Cast-iron stomach or not, the heat will invade your innards. No amount of iced beverages will tamp this sensation down. Please be careful as many people will not tolerate ghost chiles in any dilution. The biggest problem appears to be uncontrollable coughing jags.

A little goes a long way.
Finally, keep your dogs from the leftovers; a simple swallow could be the last bit of food your dog will ever consume. The consequences might be fatal. This is no joke.

(More customer reviews)This shaker appears to be of solid quality and good design, but in my opinion it got hit by the shrink ray. Perhaps I didn't pay close attention to the listed specs but it still seems like it falls short of the expected volume one would assume.
Also, even proportionate to it's size the pepper comes out VERY slowly, meaning if you want more than a hint of pepper, you'll be shaking for longer than you'd like.
On the plus side, the rubber base is a nice touch and I love being able to see how much is left.
