They quit stocking this item in our neighborhood so I have to go online to order. I hope they are not thinking about discontinueing this item Yikes! My favortie box dinner (and not many are even edible) by far.

Was very happy and eager to try another choice for Chana Masala from Tasty Bite, especially because Amazon seems to have trouble keeping the Chana Masala's in stock because they are so popular. Did not disappoint! Very enjoyable. Sweet coriander is the most prominent flavor note. The brown savory gravy is delicious. The amount of chili is very mild, so not very hot at all for Indian cuisine. Heat affectionados may want to add chili pickle, or their favorite condiment. Made with onions, chickpeas, tomatoes, sunflower oil, coriander, salt, spices, chilis, bay leaf, and turmeric. 360 calories and 12g protein per pouch. McLib's Southern Dumplings, 10-Pound Boxes Review

(More customer reviews)I love the taste of the hand-made-from-scratch dumplings my grandma made me when I was growing up. She was the best cook I have ever known. I have been trying to recreate her recipe for years with limited success, until I found McLib's Southern Dumplings.
These taste just like grandma's dumplings and now all my cousins are wondering how I got the recipe. One cousin kidded me and suggested I used one of those Ouija boards to talk to Gran. Of course, I didn't. I used the recipe that is on the back of every box of dumplings. The 15 minute Chicken and Dumpling is my favorite, while the rest of my family loves the recipe for McLib's Southern Style Lasagna that is also on the box. There are more recipes on the mclibs.com that I use including one for a great cobbler that we take to all the church socials.
If you never had hand-made dumplings do not dispair; McLib's Southern Dumplings are easy to cook and taste exactly like the ones that take hours to make by hand. I get the credit and McLib's does the work.

Healthy Choice Chicken Parmigiana Dinner, 11.6-Ounce, 12-Count Boxes Review

(More customer reviews)Whenever I eat a Healthy Choice dinner I always make a personal point of enjoying that the company *doesn't* load their dinners down with oodles & oodles of salt. Their meals are usually low on the spice scale when it comes to salts, so if you're trying to watch your sodium (or just don't like a lot of salt) this is perfect.
I heated one of these up earlier today & just adored it. The chicken was tender, the sauce delicious & best of all, the broccoli was unsalted & I was able to get the broccoli taste without having other flavors intrude. (Can you tell that I'm not a big fan of oversalted foods?) The dessert was also nice.
The only thing I'd warn people about is that you'll probably want to spread the sauce evenly over the noodles & chicken after the meal is heated. The sauce always tends to pool in one corner of the tray. There's just enough sauce to cover everything, you just have to spoon it over the noodles that weren't immersed when you mixed the noodles & rotated the chicken halfway through the cooking time.
Although I have to say... odds are you could probably find this cheaper elsewhere. The HC meals at my local store are at least two dollars cheaper, but people in more remote areas or in big cities that charge more will probably find this a decent enough price.

I hope that this review can and will help you make your decision pertaining to purchasing this product.
In a brief statement, I can sincerely document that my opinion and experience with this product was terrible. First of all, the contents of the meal that are within the bag are all there, however the quantity and quality of the chicken may unpleasantly surprise you. I can recall counting approximately four small pieces of previously frozen chicken "meat" balls.
The low quantity of the chicken balls is really of little concern, but I just wanted to put it out there. It's of little concern because the terrible smelling and tasting sweet and sour sauce and tasteless vegetables should fill you up.
The rice is, well rice. Can't really hate on it, but again I do think this product is terrible, and the taste of the rice is non-existent due to the overwhelming bad taste of the sweet and sour sauce and of course, the chewy and low quality meat product called chicken.
Cooking is very simple as long as you follow the clearly defined instructions - that's the only reason I gave this review an extra star. Just be prepared to have a foul odor linger in your kitchen for the rest of the evening.
In conclusion, I can only (and quite honestly) suggest avoid purchasing this product and wasting your money. Go with fresh ingredients for maybe a few more dollars; it will be well worth it. :)
The other reviews baffle me. I can't understand how humans can like this garbage?

(More customer reviews)I've always been a big fan of Zatarain's products, and the Chicken & Rice Dinner is no exception! The combination of spices (and veggies) in the rice add a great flavor to the chicken (prepared via the box's suggested one-pan option or adding cubed chicken in). Even my picky eaters enjoyed it! I recommend this for anyone looking for a nice Cajun kick to their chicken and rice dinners!
My only qualm is the quantity. A pack of 12 boxes ended up being split up and given to friends, because it was taking up too much room in my pantry. If only [...] could break it down to 6 boxes/pack.

And at least this order arrived un-dented :) Other cans of soup I've ordered from Amazon were dented, like someone pulled dented cans off the shelf and pack them in my order. Some were so badly dented I was not sure if the soup inside was safe to eat. It threw out half of the order.
I wish I could order these again since it's convenient to have them delivered but I'm not likely to order again since I don't want to take a chance on badly dented cans showing up.

this item is NOT fajita anything. there is no detectable scent or flavor of fajita at all. [*sigh ...*] it's a chili-flavored chicken and veggie soup.
problems ...
- no fajita anything
- chili powder [fajitas DO NOT use chili powder!]
- carrots [in fajitas?]
- kidney beans [large, starchy, slightly gritty and not at all southwestern. why not use pinto beans like every decent tex-mex joint in the world?]
i rated this a TWO cuz it IS a tolerable chili-veggie-chicken soup.

(More customer reviews)The Healthy Choice Chicken & Dumplings Soup was very tasty and more hearty than I expected. There is more broth in this product than in Healthy Choice's beef soup and chicken and rice, but still satisfying.
**Do be careful if you are on a low-sodium diet, as it is difficult to dillute this product to reduce the sodium any further. But it still has far less sodium than in regular soups.
TIP: Healthy Choice Soups are good for enhancing larger pots of soup when added to your own fresh ingredients. A meal stretcher in the winter months.
Several of the cans were dented upon arrival. When I ordered soup from Walgreen's, their cans were tightly wrapped in bubble-wrap and had no dents.
I ordered the case from Amazon during the snow storm we had back in February because the grocery stores were running low on food. Though I requested a faster shipping rather than accept the Free Shipping offer, the product was delayed because the U.. driver did not want to drive in the snow. (Ironically, the snow was beginning to clear and Amazon's tracking system said that the item was in my neighborhood. However, when the U-- driver heard that it MIGHT begin snowing again, he reversed himself and took the package back to his facility. A different U-- driver had delivered packages earlier that day without any problems. Oh well.)

Wanchai Ferry Sweet&Sour Chicken, 23.3-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4) Review

(More customer reviews)This one (sweet sour) and the Kung Pao are very good. Both are better than many Chinese resturants. In the case of the Sweet and Sour the chicken you put in is considerably than the heavily crusted stuff you get at many resturants. I personally stir in a small can of pineapple chunks plus the one that comes in the box and a cut up green pepper and some cut up onion shortly before removing the wok from the stove. Too early overcooks and too soon results in cold spots. I dump the seasoning powder in a large zip lock bag and then toss the chicken in the seasoning. It makes for very tasty chicken. I also go beyond what the box calls for with the Kung Pao. I add some celery, onion and 1" squares of green pepper. I also add a table spoon of red chili sauce to the mix for added spice. It is adequately spicey for most out of the box. I found the spicy garlic to be quite good. I was unimpressed with Cashew chicken.
