(More customer reviews)Love the taste! Sweet mesquite. Works great as a marinade or a bbq sauce. Tried it as a quick marinade, 45 min, and over night, both worked great, prefer overnight of course. Even liked it cooking with my Forman grill. I may be biased, being a Pepper, but wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too?

I hope that this review can and will help you make your decision pertaining to purchasing this product.
In a brief statement, I can sincerely document that my opinion and experience with this product was terrible. First of all, the contents of the meal that are within the bag are all there, however the quantity and quality of the chicken may unpleasantly surprise you. I can recall counting approximately four small pieces of previously frozen chicken "meat" balls.
The low quantity of the chicken balls is really of little concern, but I just wanted to put it out there. It's of little concern because the terrible smelling and tasting sweet and sour sauce and tasteless vegetables should fill you up.
The rice is, well rice. Can't really hate on it, but again I do think this product is terrible, and the taste of the rice is non-existent due to the overwhelming bad taste of the sweet and sour sauce and of course, the chewy and low quality meat product called chicken.
Cooking is very simple as long as you follow the clearly defined instructions - that's the only reason I gave this review an extra star. Just be prepared to have a foul odor linger in your kitchen for the rest of the evening.
In conclusion, I can only (and quite honestly) suggest avoid purchasing this product and wasting your money. Go with fresh ingredients for maybe a few more dollars; it will be well worth it. :)
The other reviews baffle me. I can't understand how humans can like this garbage?

(More customer reviews)A while back I was looking for a citrus-type marinade for chicken to replace the Lawry's that has been discontinued.
The only thing I could find that had the word citrus in it was the 7up marinade.
I have had the misfortune, as have many others, of getting hooked on something only to have it discontinued.
So I decided to order a six pack in case I really liked it.
We marinated some chicken breasts with it and threw them on the BBQ.
We were less than pleased with the result.......of course, I was missing the Lawry's so my expectations were high.
Fast forward a few months.....
We were going to BBQ kabobs with chicken, onion, bell pepper, zucchini and mushrooms.
I looked through my pantry for something to brush on them.
There was a bottle of the 7up marinade.
I decided to give it another try.
Oh my gosh, what a pleasant surprise!
I don't know if it was the vegetable juices with the 7up or what but we loved it.
That was 2 weeks ago and we just had the same dinner again tonight.
Give it another try.

(More customer reviews)I've used this product for years. If only the salt content were lower...it would be a perfect side dish. I love that it has sooooo much flavor and is so simple to prepare. Pour contents into a large bowl, add 2 to 2 1/4 cups of purified water and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Cook on high for 10 minutes in the microwave and you've got a delicious meal companion. The flavor is always outstanding. Quality control with this product is fabulous! I've tried other pre-packaged pasta mixes but I always come back to this one. It's just DELICIOUS!! Now if only they would use sea salt!! Of course, it's pasta so nutrition is not like a fresh salad or a bowl of broccoli but it really does taste great!

(More customer reviews)I tend to eat lunch at my desk a lot and got a few of these as something better than tuna on cracker. Overall, the rice dishes take a bit of getting used to in prep... once you learn the exact time for your microwave, the rice cooks well and is fluffy and the sauce is quite flavorful.
Overall, I haven't found anything at super low-fat/low-cal that tastes better... so I keep these (and other flavors) at my desk all the time now.

(More customer reviews)For a quick cheap meal that stores well and requires very little effort, Lipton Noodle Soup is a pretty good choice. It tastes like chicken noodle soup (well, sort of), which is what you'd expect, and is fairly good if you rate it against what it's supposed to be. It has a good long shelf life, so you don't have to worry too much about tossing it in the pantry and pulling it out when you next find it.
Great for camping, day trips, or just if you don't feel like anything complicated. Time to mix it up? Just add water.
It's not gourmet (and it's not supposed to be). The consistency is a little off, flavor different than you'd expect for fresh, and boy is this stuff salty. But what did you expect? It's soup in a box, and it serves its purpose. If you wanted gourmet, you wouldn't be getting it from a box anyway.
It does what it's supposed to do well, and that's what matters.

I sampled one and found they are very salty and tastless. I bought these thinking they would sell in my little store (I sell mostly to senior citizens) being convienant for Senior Citizens to prepare a quick dinner. I was wrong. They are still on the shelf, and I will probably wind up trying to get rid of them at a loss or give away.
