Was very happy and eager to try another choice for Chana Masala from Tasty Bite, especially because Amazon seems to have trouble keeping the Chana Masala's in stock because they are so popular. Did not disappoint! Very enjoyable. Sweet coriander is the most prominent flavor note. The brown savory gravy is delicious. The amount of chili is very mild, so not very hot at all for Indian cuisine. Heat affectionados may want to add chili pickle, or their favorite condiment. Made with onions, chickpeas, tomatoes, sunflower oil, coriander, salt, spices, chilis, bay leaf, and turmeric. 360 calories and 12g protein per pouch. (More customer reviews)These are a little different than your average ramen noodle. They still contain the artery-clogging amounts of fat (they are FRIED in palm oil, after all,) the high sodium and the whopping 380 calories per pack.
However, these are Taiwanese-style noodles, which are a little thinner and have somewhat more flavor - good enough to eat dry. They also contain two packets of seasoning. One of sesame oil, and one of chicken flavor with sesame seeds. In all, a hard on the body but oh-so-tasty edible. Just don't eat them for every meal!

(More customer reviews)I have been searching for a mix for vegetarian gravy with a beef type flavor. This is the best I have found. The mock chicken version by Hain is not to my liking so if you have tried that one don't let it prevent you from enjoying the brown gravy mix. Whole Foods used to carry in bulk mix for chicken broth/gravy that was very good but seems to have discontinued it. The only vegetarian gravy better than this brown gravy mix comes with a tofurkey that is mushroom gravy that is prepared and frozen. This is simple and handy and relatively inexpensive and as tasty as any meat based gravy mix.

(More customer reviews)I received one of these meals after Hurricane Rita. They were being handed out by first responders to people in the area before our utilities were restored. Excellent product. I wanted more so I could stock up in case of another disaster or emergency. I found their website and discovered that they were not for sale over the internet. I was very disappointed...until today. I went back to their website and saw that the meals are now available from amazon! This is great news! I suggest that everyone stock up on these meals in case of emergencies. They really come in handy.

I recently ordered a case (for myself and to share with friends) because I could no longer find it locally. The ingredients have changed and now milk is listed as a "natural flavoring." The allergy information has been changed to read: Wheat, Milk. HUGE disappointment!

I actually wanted`turkey' gravy for my turkey' roast but due search exhaustion, decided to give this a try. I am SO glad I did. It is VERY good and so easy to make. Once packet goes a long way.
