(More customer reviews)Two problems with this slow cooker: it is not insulated and the outside gets so hot, too hot to touch, had to get a hot pad for underneath, worried about counter burning. Second, the lid is not tight, so it is not really cooking to it full advantage, with the steam, you can see a space between lid and crockery.
Overall, this is a really poor excuse for a slow cooker, I guess you get what you pay for.
