(More customer reviews)I was thrilled to receive this from my thoughtful 90 year old mother-in-law for Christmas. Green is my kitchen color and the clear lid enables checking on the cooking process without removing the lid. I also like that it is oval and more horizontal than vertical. My old crock pot was top heavy and often tipped in the car if not secured. I put it to use immediately. Unfortunately, although used according to directions, the liner developed a hairline crack after the first use. I called Rival and they instructed me to return it to the store as defective. Well, not wanting to upset my mother-in-law and create a commotion, that may be tricky to do...I wish they had been more responsive. After all, they sold their product. Now it is at my inconvenience to make it right. They should have sent a new liner.
