(More customer reviews)I was given a Rival programmable 6qt over the holidays. Cooked way too hot. Did some research and decided on this slow cooker. I decided to do an experiment. I took my old 3.5qt Rival(about 10yrs old), the new 6qt Rival programmable and the Hamilton Stay or Go and put water in each about an inch from the top. Set them each on low and took temperature readings after 6 hours. The Rival 6qt was 20 degrees warmer than the other two. This slow cooker works great.
My only complaint was the rubber smell. I believe this smell comes from the seal on the lid.
