(More customer reviews)This is a very good sauce, to be used either as a marinade or just right into the oven sauce. I use it regularly for chicken. It can also be used for salmon and shrimp. Eliminates the hassle of having to make my own orange-ginger marinade from scratch, which i used to do using orange marmalade, orange juice, salt and orange zest. However, it is $4.50 a bottle at my local grocer and i feel THAT is too high, so i went looking here at Amazon only to find it even more overpriced at $7.14. I will not pay that.

It isn't soy sauce or huisan sauce or worschire(sic)or Maggi nor any combination of either. It is the sauce that restaurants use on take-out teriyaki chicken with rice or gyoza dip.
Yes, it is expensive but aren't all the best things in life that way? I purchased 6 bottles, gave 2 away and am nearly finished with the first one my family and I have used.

This wonderful marinade is the prime ingredient used for making famous "Huli Huli Chicken" that Hawaiians so love. It also makes a wonderful marinade and/or gravy for beef, pork, fish, just about any meat. The ingredients on both bottles are the same even though they were listed in a slightly different order. I'm sure there are many uses but my primary use is as a sauce for my salmon. It makes a regular presentation instantly "gourmet". Everyone who has tasted this absolutely loves it.

Add a tsp of sesame seed oil it for more flavor, then add to chicken in a plastic bag, chill overnight in the fridge. Remove chicken and boil the marinade 5 minutes uncovered, then chill. The cooked marinade is safe to use as a marinade again, or as a salad dressing.

It has a kick to it, but it is also savery. I put it on corn, potatoes, meat, chicken, fish, and in PASTA dishes. My mom thinks it is really gross even after all this time that we still drench everything in it. My taste buds are still intact as well! This is my secret sauce that I wont even tell my fiancee because it is too good to be true. It is very hard to find in stores, but the original Shop Rite he bought it from still has it to this day (Maybe because we buy every single bottle) it cost about 2.50-3.00 for a single bottle. Tobasco Sauce eat your heart out. Tiger Sauce all the way!

(More customer reviews)I grew up on this stuff. I have been living in California for the last 15 years and just recently ordered a bottle of this marinade.
I have to tell you, the smell is intoxicating. It is a little overwhelming if you don't do it right. Basically that means you will marinade the meat and lightly baste the meat when you grill it.
It's SO worth it and delicious and reminds me of being a kid again. It's also GREAT on vegetables. Lightly baste an ear of corn when you put it on the grill. Fantastic!

I can't get enough of the Cioppino, it's the best I've ever tasted and it also makes a great sauce on pasta and shellfish. The use of wine, in place of vinegar, is genius and really ads a sophisticated touch to the backyard BBQ.
