(More customer reviews)I first purchased this glaze because I am a fan of Iron Chef America. I love teriyaki but most of the bottled baste and glazes were just not right. This one beats all. It's great on steak, chicken breasts, vegetables...it goes on and on. It's bursting with flavor that will not disappoint. In fact I am having trouble finding it in the grocery store which really bums me out.

(More customer reviews)I made a stir fry with it the day after receiving it in the mail and it was really rather good. In fact usually when I made it with other sauces there was leftovers but this time everyone had seconds and even some thirds and finished it.
The only reason this didn't get 5 stars was that you really can't taste any pineapple in it. I figured the pineapple would be subtle when I bought it but we couldn't notice it at all. But even with this minor flaw it is good sauce.
EDIT: I used this to marinade a roast and it came out really good. First I took a knife and poked allot of holes in the top of the roast, put garlic cloves in the holes then rubbed the roast down with a cup of this sauce and let it sit in the fridge over night. After cooking in the crockpot for 10 hours on low it was out of site. Even my very picky eater of a mom came over and loved it. In fact she came back over today for leftovers.

(More customer reviews)Try this as a marinade for the chicken you plan to use in a salad or sandwiches, or for grilling! Add a tsp of sesame seed oil it for more flavor, then add to chicken in a plastic bag, chill overnight in the fridge. Remove chicken and boil the marinade 5 minutes uncovered, then chill. The cooked marinade is safe to use as a marinade again, or as a salad dressing.

Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce Review

(More customer reviews)I've always been a big fan of Japanese Teriyaki, and every once in a while I used to go through a local drive through that served a steaming hot bowl of rice topped with sliced grilled chicken breast and topped with their thick, sweet teriyaki sauce. It was absolutely delicious and very cheap, but unfortunately they went out of business.
In the meantime I stopped eating teriyaki because I didn't realize there was a thinner version, more like soy sauce. Enter: Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade and Sauce. I was at the store looking to pick up some soy sauce when this caught my eye. I was surprised at how thin it was, it has the consistency of soy sauce. I was very pleasantly surprised when I got home and cooked up a pot of basmati rice and topped it with this teriyaki sauce, it was wonderful. It's slightly sweet, full of flavor, and has 610 mg of sodium vs. 920 mg of sodium in one tablespoon of soy sauce.
I now always prefer this to soy sauce and it's become a staple in our household.
