Zuke's Hip Action Chicken Cat Treats Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We started giving our 9 year old, very arthritic cat "Hip Action" about 8 weeks ago. What a difference. After about 5 weeks, she went from "walking around like a raccoon" to playing like a kitten. You can tell her pain is less and she is so much happier. We are very pleased! We tried giving her "Cosequin" based upon our vet's recommendation but "no way" would she take the pill (too big) or eat anything that was sprinkled with it. Hip Action treats are the perfect answer. She loves them and looks forward to getting them every night.

(More customer reviews)My two cats love these treats! So well in fact, that I have to hide them otherwise I come home to a shredded, empty bag. I feed them a grain-free diet, so its nice to find treats that are grain-free as well!

Zuke's Hip Action Natural Cat Treats, 3-Ounce Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My cat is 13 years old and didn't move around as well as he used to. A friend of mine had great results taking human glucosamine and chondroitin supplements. We looked at the natural supplements available- and there was no way that my cat was going to let me give him pills everyday, unless I wanted to be shredded and bit(he is a bit feisty about meds). These treats, given only 3 small ones a day are the perfect answer. He will jump on my lap to get to these, he loves them (and he is kinda picky). He does seem to be moving a lot better these days.

Did you know that cats can suffer from achy and stiff joints just like people and dogs do? Cat Hip Action treats contain cat-specific levels of the same pharmaceutical-grade glucosamine and chondroitin found in our best-selling Hip Action dog treats. In addition to soothing aches and pains, recent studies show that glucosamine also can promote cat urinary tract health. Made with real chicken and salmon, plus vitamins and minerals, Hip Action treats are a delicious way to keep your cat agile and healthy.

Catswell Happy Hips for Cats, Chicken Breast, Glucosamine & Chondroitin, 2-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 10) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I'm so glad Amazon is selling the kitty treats now (in addition to the doggie version). I have 2 large orange tabby cats, which the vet said are genetically predisposed to hip problems. He said they could have a glucosamine supplement to help with this. I have fed a few treats daily (which they LOVE!) to both cats since they were 6 months old, and have had no hip problems so far. Cats go crazy for these treats and there are a few varieties, so they don't get bored. I also give the flaxseed and vitamin version of the treats, 1 bag to every 2 bags of the happy hips version. One bag lasts a couple of weeks, fed daily per instructions. This price is excellent, especially with the subcribe and save. Our local health food store sells these treats for $4.00 a bag. This is a great way to give a cat vitamin supplements. They willingly (and eagerly) eat them.

Ark Naturals Sea Mobility Chicken Jerky for Dogs, 9-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 2) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Our dog is older and has arthritis. He has a hard time getting around sometimes. After we started giving him these treats with glucosamine, he visibly improved. He is a little quicker, and gets around much more easily. I know that vets say that they are not sure if glucosamine helps, but from my personal experience it definitely does. Plus - it is much easier to get him to eat these treats than something in pill form - he loves the way these taste and gets excited when he hears us opening the bag. They are a little pricey - but absolutely worth it in my opinion!!

Dogswell Happy Hips for Dogs Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Originally, these were made in US. Now made in China ( see back of bag) ... advertised as natural, cage free, no hormones, no fillers, no antibiotics ...HUH? Not in China... I will not trust these as safe treats. Follow up: My dogs vomited after they ate these. 3/09 original warnings from FDA 2007 re: chicken product from China... a follow up was issued by the FDA again on 12/18/08 to remain vigilant and of concern if fed to smaller dogs.
