(More customer reviews)I was looking to add another set of tongs to our kitchen, as the one that we have always seems to be in the dishwasher. These tongs are great. I love the metal tips, as I have a hard time grasping food with the nylon coated ones sometimes. These are dishwasher safe (which come on, is a HUGE plus in anyone's book now!), and the locking mechanism makes them easy to store.
Some of the other reviewers were complaining that they couldn't life racks of ribs with these tongs, seriously? These tongs are not heavy-duty tongs, but for all other kitchen and BBQ uses, they fit the bill. And for $9.00, that's cheaper than any of the local kitchen stores were selling an equivalent item for.
