I make Irish Scones and need to cut room-temperature butter into flour. This tool did not cut it. It is flimsy and the blades very sooon bend into each other and are no longer evenly spaced. There are much heartier pastry blenders on the market. Don't buy this one.

This is the best pastry knife you will ever own. It's big, heavy construction. It's very bend resistant. And it's a very classy tool.Use this professional stainless pastry blender for your biscuits, scones, and pies!We prefer blades, not wires, on our pastry blenders. Wires work okay but once you use blades, you won't go back. Blades are more rigid and cut faster and finer through your pastry dough. It's irritating when the blades on your pastry knife bend. These are beefy to avoid bending. This is a quality, professional tool that you will be happy to add to your kitchen collection.
