The great thing about the treats is that they serve 2 purposes; they eliminate hairballs completely and do not have magnessium the #1 cause of urinary tract infections.
The only problem is that you can get them at Kmart or Walmart for $2.49.

Our vet was concerned about the loose stools, so I kept trying different foods (needless to say, this VERY pricey) until I came upon Castor & Pollux Organic puppy food. He adores it, his coat is shiny, teeth sparkling, energy healthy and perky and stools solid.
I highly recommend this product for a healthy, happy puppy.

We found these Happy Hips at a specialty dog store, read the label, saw that it had no by-products, no fillers, no sugar, and no BHA/BHT or added hormones, and decided to try it. She loves it! It looks like bacon and is considered a treat for her, but still has the added vitamins and supplements she needs. I would highly recommend this product (which is why I'm online trying to find more!).

Due to his digestion problems they are one of the few treats on the market that he can eat. I like mixing up the Pet Greens flavors for variety. His favorite are the fish falvors. He loves these treats much more than the dried meat and fish treats out there, even the chicken flavor seems to be better than the dried fish treats.

(More customer reviews)My lab mix has a very sensitive tummy. He had recurrent bouts of diarrhea, vomiting and constant wretched gas. I had given him pedigree for awhile but realized that was no good for him. Then we tried science diet, but his gas seemed to get worse and his tummy would gurgle all day.
I read about this dog food and its natural ingredients. There's no corn meal or other fillers. He's been on this food for about 2 weeks now and his gas has disappeared! He has not had a single bout of diarrhea or vomiting. I'm impressed. Yes it's pricey and I normally wouldn't buy something so expensive, but it is well worth it for the health of my dog.
*Updated* to say that he has been on this food for a few months now and has continued to be free of tummy troubles and wretched gas. He hasn't vomited at all or had diarrhea. His coat has gotten so much shinier and he seems to be a much happier dog without all the tummy issues!

Natural Balance Potato and Duck Formula Dog Food, 30-Pound Bag Review

(More customer reviews)This food was the best out there until Spring 2009, then they changed the formula. If you check the website, they admit they lost their access to the "quality" duck protein they were using. Easy way to tell was the food went from light brown to greenish. That, and after your dog eats the new formula, he will throw up and have diarrhea all over your house. I have two mutts, neither of which are picky eaters. Both of them chose to starve, rather than eat this food after the formula change. When combined with the fact that Natural Balance was part of that Chinese dog poisoning issue a few years back, I don't trust this company not to kill my dogs.
By the way, if you buy it from PetCo, you will never know, since this food is a good seller, and PetCo has been editing its reviews of the product to delete anything that puts people off the food. They should be ashamed of themselves, and I won't be getting food there, anymore.
Do yourself and your dogs a favor and avoid Natural Balance Ultra.

I've never seen this cat walk around on two legs, try to climb my arm to get to the treat in my hand, or reach into a bag to try to get to the contents before I gave her some of these. The name is very fitting, but the real temptation is for we humans to keep giving just *one* more treat to the cat over and over again to enjoy the fun reactions.

(More customer reviews)We adopted a neighborhood cat a few months ago. She is very nice, but had horrible breath even after we started feeding her various special cat foods. Otherwise great cat, but when she would yawn in your lap, you had to fight fainting.
We took "Dentabites" more for fun since our cat loved other whiskas tempations we tried with her, but well, thought let's try to see if it really can do anything about her breath. After about a week of giving her dentabites, we noticed her breath "improved" and after 2 weeks it was amazing. Her bad breath is almost completely gone, or gone as much as it can without brushing teeth i suppose. We didn't change anything in her diet at the time so we were pretty sure it was dentabites that did the job. Also, since then, we've been feeding her various foods but keep the dentabites snacks and bad breath hasn't returned... one more point to be sure that Dentabites really work.
Really great product. Just a few treats a day make enormous difference. Highly recommended.
