To put it in perspective, the McCormick website suggests that you use 1 tablespoon of seasoning per pound of steak (which is too salty for my taste, actually). With 58 ounces of steak seasoning, you can flavor **164 POUNDS** of meat.
I love this seasoning and use it almost religiously on steaks, chicken, fish, popcorn, you name it...and a single 29 ounce bottle last me almost two years. Luckily, the steak seasoning keeps pretty well AS LONG AS you store the bottle in a cool, dry place, and transfer the amount you want to use into a smaller container. The salt in the mixture soaks up any moisture in the air, so if you live in a humid environment, the seasoning will start to clump up pretty quickly.
That said, if you're feeding a large family or survive on a completely carnivorous diet, this is the best pre-mixed steak seasoning I've ever tried. The coarse spice grind is delightful, and there's something in the flavor that surpasses the standard "salt-pepper-garlic" steak flavoring combination. The seasoning is quite versatile and you can use it to dash up poultry, sauteed veggies, even baked potatoes.
Just watch your sodium intake...this stuff has 100% RDA of sodium in a single tablespoon!
