(More customer reviews)During my graduate school days, I was living in a rooming house with a group of mostly Asian students and I became interested in Asian foods and how they were prepared. Up to that time I had been using La Choy Soy Sauce (a standard American brand), but my Chinese and Japanese friends would have nothing to do with it. They advised that Kikkoman Soy Sauce (a Japanese product) was the best that was easily available. I tried it, and I agreed. Well, it's been a long time, but I still think Kikkoman is an excellent brand, the best I've run into.
I use Kikkoman's for all kinds of things. I use it as a sprinkle-on sauce, as an ingredient in salad dressings, for stir fry cooking and as a marinade with meats. It's just one of those all purpose seasoning things to have in the kitchen with the other seasoners. I usually buy it in the good-sized bottles, as available, as I use a lot of it. As a testimony to it's excellence, it's the brand you probably see most often in Asian restaurants. I wouldn't be without it.

Kikkoman soy sauces are naturally brewed, made from three ingredients - soybeans, wheat and salt. Kikkoman's most popular soy sauce is regular soy sauce, which has a deep reddish-brown color and a wonderfully rich flavor. It is used in cooking and as a table-top seasoning, much like salt and pepper.
