The package says four hours on high, though I really think five hours is more accurate. On low all day while you're at work would be outstanding. You can't go wrong here. The flavor is wonderful.

If these were truly pates, I'd buy several cases right now. My cats (6) will only eat pates. Maybe one day...

(More customer reviews)At about 3 years of age, our cat would have bladder infections several times a year (straining at the litter, staying there for 5 min+ at a time, only a little urine and it was blood-tinged). We had been feeding her only on indoor cat dry food. After many trips to the vet and rounds of antibiotics, I read that some cats with this problem do better on wet food - something to do with not drinking enough water or just not getting enough fluids in general. For the past 4 years, she has not had one bladder infection! Friskies Chicken Dinner in Gravy Special Diet is the only one she likes the taste of.

(More customer reviews)I would give five stars to the food, but only one star for the delivery time. Our two cats are big and eat a lot, so I thought it would be much easier to order through Amazon and get it sent right to our house, than go to the grocery often to pick up a case or two. Even though Amazon's price is a little higher, saving on gas and time, it seemed worth it.
It is difficult to know what cats will like, so while ours love this food, and won't eat any other flavor I've tried, I'm sure they'd agree that it is 5-star. However, anybody else's cats may not agree, so that is always a tossup as to what they will go for. Cats is weird.
What was exceptionally disappointing is the ridiculous shipping wait. It was listed as 4-5 weeks just to ship, and I don't know how long the stuff will be in transit, as I am still waiting for it.
Trying to anticipate how much to order, and when, with such a long time just to ship out these is probably not worth the trouble. I brought this to the attention of Amazon via email, and their reply was pretty fuzzy, talking about different shipping locations.
In any case, if you order 3-4 cases at a time as I do, you will have to have a lot already in your house before taking a chance or ordering this.

(More customer reviews)Initially ordered this at slightly over a dollar per can. These are big cans (22 oz) instead of the smaller ones, so that was a good deal. The dogs loved this (Chicken flavor) and the T-bone Steak flavor as well, so if they're happy and jumping around to gobble it down, that's good enough for me. I mix it in with dry crunchy food and they lick their bowls clean. I haven't tried it myself (just can't get hungry enough to eat dog food...) but it smells good. I see the price has roughly doubled since the first order however, so I'm going to have to look elsewhere for a better price or find something else. No problem with the item itself, just the price, and even then, only because it was a good deal before.
