(More customer reviews)I bought a bag of this at the local petfood store - it was 5 lbs less than a 40lb bag (these are 35lbs) and cost about 5 dollars more so it is slightly more expensive in the store.
I mainly got it because my dog (a 10 yr german shep) had been eating the green large breed formula for 6 months so I figured something new was in order.
My dog really seems to enjoy breakfast now and gets really excited about the new dog food. Given a choice between it and her old food she goes for this all the time.
So the dog seems to enjoy it more than the normal stuff which justifies the price difference. She's got more energy and has had better winter health eating this.
You might try a bag and see if your dog prefers it to their normal food. Presented with two equal bowls their pallet becomes the choice.
