(More customer reviews)My husband and I both have difficulty holding onto soup bowls, but for different reasons. We had two French Onion Soup Crocks that didn't have a lip around the inside rim when we were first married and loved them, but one of them got broken.
I've been looking for many years for a replacement. For years the only French Onion soup bowls available had this lip around the inside of the rim, which made cleaning them all but impossible, even in the dishwasher.
Then I found these bowls and, amazingly, somebody finally figured out not to make them with an inner lip. I haven't actually used them yet, but they are exactly what I was looking for. I'm ordering two more for when we have company.
