(More customer reviews)I bought 4 dozen eggs from this company, after the farmer I was buying pastured eggs from went out of business. When you crack the eggs the yolk is all watery and falls flat. The second dozen was rotten and had a bad smell. Apparently these chickens are fed a diet of cocofeed which is the left over remains after pressing coconut oil from the coconut. Did one ever think that maybe waste is just waste? What separates them from factory farming? They say the chickens are free range but that doesn't really say anything. All it means is they are not in cages but it doesn't guarantee that they are outside of a barn.
Fortunate for me the eggs I had ordered from another farmer finally came and they are so beautiful. The yolks are deep orange against the pure white. The taste is sensational. I just can't bear to eat these eggs from tropical traditions.
All I can say is buyer beware. Maybe some of them were rotten because they are old? Not sure. It is hard to get eggs grown on pasture shipped but it is truly worth every penny.
If you are thinking of having these eggs just get the ones at the store they are surely better.

Country Sweet Sauce, 21 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)After almost 20 years away from Rochester NY, Country Sweet is still one of my fondest memories from growing up. My friends and I were fortunate to have the restaurant close to our high school. You could pour this sauce on a ROCK and I'd bet that someone would EAT THAT ROCK! It's that good! Hopefully I won't offend anyone when I say that we used to call it "crack," but it seemed like no matter what time of night it was (and they were open until about 3AM if my memory is correct); there was always a line coming out of Country Sweet and we'd always catch someone walking out grinning, saying "I got SAUCE!."
Now, it is sweet, so for those watching their blood sugar, this may not be the best choice. For the rest of you, even those funny eaters (like me) who won't eat all of the meat off of a chicken wing, that will no longer be a problem. Infact, you'll have to keep yourself from eating the bones! Depending on the temperature,it can also have a bit of a kick, but the sweetness balances it out. It also has just the right amount of tang. Soooo good! I was excited to find some on Amazon since I have a niece moving down for college and was considering telling her she could only come if she's bringing the sauce! lol! Hey, I said it was addictive!

Norpro Silicone 3-Piece Egg/Pancake Ring Set Review

(More customer reviews)While the product quality is good, these 3 shapes are REALLY large. Much larger than I anticipated. The circle is 5-1/8 inch in outside diameter, and 4-5/8 inch inside diameter. I think this is really too large for a single egg (unless you use a jumbo egg)....maybe two eggs would be more like it. Great for a pancake, though. The circle is way too big for cooking an egg for an english muffin sandwich, or even a large hamburg roll. The star would be OK for a single egg, or a smaller pancake, but the heart too large for an egg....again, OK for a pancake.
