(More customer reviews)I used to be able to buy this near my home, but now it's inexplicably disappeared from the supermarket shelves, though other Asian Home Gourmet products are still sold.
My habit in buying from the supermarket was to simply sweep every single package into my basket whenever I came across it. It's that good.
The sweet and sour flavoring works deliciously when mixed into a batch of fried rice. Start by frying in a teaspoon of olive oil srimp and fingernail-size chopped vegetables, add 2 cups or so of cooked rice, and, following that, two or three raw, beaten chicken eggs. When the dish is almost ready to serve, mix in one package of pineapple rice paste, cook a further 2 minutes or so, and serve.
Everyone I've served this to (including some eaters of wide experience) has remarked on the unique flavor. Strongly recommended.

(More customer reviews)My favorite Thai dish to order out is Pad Thai. When I get a craving, but can't get to a restaurant I will make Taste of Thai Pad Thai for Two. Usually I do share it with a family member, but if not, the leftovers make a tasty lunch. The flavor of the sauce is very authentic. Not too heavy or light-just right. The amount of rice noodles is substantial. The package makes a good size meal for two. I add my own chicken pieces or shrimp along with some green onions, and if I have some broccoli, I'll throw that in as well. This is a great item to keep in your pantry for when you want something different and exotically tasty.

Everywhere I have gone, I always ask for peanut sauce and have gotten everything from a spicy red oily sauce to a sweet oily (chunky) kind of sauce. This can is just like what we used to get in our favorite Thai places. I highly recommend this product!

This is a great dipping sauce for any kind of grilled meat, vegetables and tofu. It is goes particularly well, however with grilled chicken satay. Satay is a simple and succulent dish consisting of marinated meat (often chicken) grilled on skewers and served with a peanut sauce for dipping. It makes a wonderful appetizer, or can be served with rice and a salad as a main meal. Satay (Thai Peanut) sauce will spice up a salad, appetizer, or entree.
