These Pad Thai (fettuccine) rice noodles are perfect for making Thailand's national dish, Pad Thai, right at home. There's even an easy recipe right on the side of the package. They're also great in all kinds of other dishes, from soups and stir-fries to cold noodle salads. You can toss them with any of our Annie Chun's Sauces to make a quick, satisfying hot or cold meal in less than five minutes.
They're made right here in the U.S. from American white rice flour. Like all our rice noodles, they're 100% natural, fat-free, wheat-free and gluten-free. Their delightful texture and mild flavor make them a fun alternative to ordinary pasta.
Make it simple: Quick Chinese Chicken Noodle Soup--Cook Pad Thai Rice Noodles for 4 minutes; drain and set aside. In large pot, heat chicken or vegetable broth with a dash of Annie Chun's Shiitake Mushroom Sauce, some shredded cooked chicken, a handful of bean sprouts and some sliced green onions and grated ginger. (More customer reviews)This tastes exactly like it is homemade. The jar is so generous with artichokes, I was shocked. The seasoning is mild and it is tasty on chicken with added fresh Parmasean cheese. I also tried it with bruschetta bread and found I ate too many pieces! In fact it was dinner one night with a salad.There are so many uses for this sauce. If you like tomatoes and artichokes, you will love this product. When you read other reviews you will see adverse comments on packaging. I think the manufacturer must have corrected it since the jars came in a nicely made, well fitting box lined with styrofoam on the top and bottom and dividers. The product containers are thick plastic with a screw on lid that could also be reused. I washed a couple in my DW and they held up perfectly.

(More customer reviews)I really like that we can buy organic canned white meat chicken. This is one of my pantry staples (to add to soups, to make chicken salad sandwiches, to dump on top of salads for protein.) Living in South Florida, this is also part of my hurricane prep--ready to eat, lowfat, organic protein, easy as opening a can.
For those of us too lazy to cook our own chicken for lunch, this is a great help.
And for those who can't eat tuna (like me, due to seafood allergy), mixing this with traditional tuna fish salad ingredients (relish, mayo, onions, carrots, celery) almost feels like I'm having tuna like in ye olde non-allergic days. :)
I tend to rinse this with water before using due to the saltiness.
I'm glad amazon has it, as my local supermarket sometimes runs out. The expiration date on my last two orders here were in late 2011 for the first and mid 2012 for the second, so these are not "ready to go bad any day" type of sale items.
