(More customer reviews)I tried this jerk years ago at a steak house. I was instantly hooked. It has a great flavor and good amount of heat. I like to use it with chicken and fish. Especially tuna steaks. If you love good Jamaican food, as I do, get it!

Jerk is a popular method of barbacuing well seasoned pork, chicken and fish. It can be traced to the Cormantee hunters of preslavery West Africa. They would roast pork over hot coals in earthen pits that were covered with patas, strands made of green pimento or other green tree branches. In Boston Beach (an area of northeastern Jamaica) today, the jerk pork is famous. Use this on chicken, pork, beef, fish vegetables and soups.

The seasoning has a very nice flavor and it's quite spicy. Good all purpose Jerk seasoning to have around the house. I bought this because it came in two BIG bottles and we go through a lot of Jerk seasoning at home.
