(More customer reviews)If you make your own pizza dough this is the roller for you. I actually buy mine from "Fresh and Easy" but it's still the same. I use to use a regular rolling pin but that didn't work out my mom got me this and I've been in love with it ever since. What's so great about it is it's small enough to roll the dough in the pizza pan. With the small rounded end it's easy to get in the corners of the pan and get a ridge on the edges without any effort with the bigger roller it's easy to spread the dough out from the center of the pan. The only thing that you have to watch out for is not to soak it or keep it in water for long, it tends to start discoloring the wood and then start splitting after a while. I season mine with oil every now and then.
I've tried the marble version but the handle was cramped and the wire roller holders were twisted (I twisted them back though). The marble version does have some advantages; it's heavier which makes it easier to roll the dough out, its easier to clean, you can put it in the dishwasher and you can let it soak. If you have smaller hands you might like it more.
The funny thing is is that Amazon keeps changing pictures of this roller from the shorter wooden roller to the longer version I'm reviewing. Get the longer one.

(More customer reviews)My husband and I bought this flavor injector to replace the one that came with out Ronco rotisserie. It was a better price than a new one from the Ronco site, and it definately better made. The whole plunger unit is thicker and the finger holes are rubberized and easy to grip. On our old one we would commonly get the needle stuck and it would pull out of the unit - this one seems better designed and able to bear up under that pressure. I like that it injects both solids (garlic) and liquids, though my husband thought it was still difficult to press the garlic through (but not impossible). Best part is that you can store all the pieces inside the body so that you don't lose anything in your gadget drawer.

(More customer reviews)Just had a chance to try out the bacon press tonight for BLT's--it works great! We love our bacon nice and crisp, and this little press does the job great and seems to speed up cooking time (perhaps because the cast iron "holds in the heat" while the bacon fries?). Bacon was crisp and delicious; the press prevents bacon curling and relieves you of the neverending task of flipping bacon over and over and over again when cooked conventionally. This press is a great addition to my kitchen; only gave it 4 stars, simply because it isn't quite as heavy as I would like, although it still performs well. Just make sure you season it before first use (directions in the box---just oil the press, oil a frying pan, then heat both together on VERY low heat for 20 minutes. Allow to cool and wipe excess oil off press). But don't use it with nonstick pans!

(More customer reviews)My daughter is allergic to food dye, and she can't eat a some brands of popsicles. We needed to make our own. I had the Lickity Sip, but had lost half the plastic "sticks". I didn't replace it with that one since I didn't want to search the yard looking for the plastic ones every time they ate outside. So, I wanted one that used wooden sticks. This is great. It makes a lot of pops at a time. You can't tell from the description or pictures, but the molds are all connected in a metal frame. Some people complained that the sticks get stuck, or popped up. I didn't have a problem with them popping up, so I don't pre-soak them. If they did pop up, I think I would put something on top to hold them down while freezing, a bag of frozen Veggies maybe. Others complained the stick holes were too small, I used a flat-head screwdriver to widen the holes a little. It worked great. Some have complained that they have to run it under water to loosen the Pops. I think thats true of any popsicle mold. I am very pleased with this product. It makes 8 Pops at a time, so I can make 4 each full size Pops for my 7-year old and 1/2 size ones for my 2-year old.

(More customer reviews)Don't pay attention to the reviewers who think that you brew tea in a tea strainer. You don't cook spaghetti in a spaghetti strainer. This is a tea strainer, made for pour loose leaf brews through AFTER you have brewed your tea, so that you don't wind up with leaves in your cup. This works great for Turkish Coffee as well.
So, basically you DO NOT place loose leaves in the wire mesh and pour hot water through it. Place the loose leaves in the hot water and brew them in the tea pot. Pour the tea that you have brewed to your taste through the strainer and into the cup and catch the loose leaves.

I have braces on my teeth and one thing I am not allowed to eat is corn on the cob so since I love the stuff I decided to take it off the cob but using a knife takes awhile and this is so much quicker to use and clean up is a breeze. And it's a very classy tool.Use this professional stainless pastry blender for your biscuits, scones, and pies!We prefer blades, not wires, on our pastry blenders. Wires work okay but once you use blades, you won't go back. Blades are more rigid and cut faster and finer through your pastry dough. It's irritating when the blades on your pastry knife bend. Natural Cheese Cloth Review

(More customer reviews)I can't believe how much money I've wasted on the cheap (expensive!) crap at the grocery store. For making stock, those are way too "holey" and trying to wash them to reuse is ridiculously impossible. In any event, if you make stock and end up with that gritty brown stuff at the bottom of your pot, you'll know what I'm talking about. (even after you've strained two times with that cheap stuff at the grocery store and "specialty" kitchen stores!)
I only cut one piece of this cloth so far (maybe 1/3 of original size) and have made gallons of stock and it's still strong as ever. My stock now comes out completely pure and clear, no grit at the bottom of the pot.
I can't believe how well this thing works and to top it off, I think that one small piece I cut off the cloth is going to last forever. It's large enough to lay over my metal strainer and I cook 20 quarts of stock at a time. I now only have to strain once. Whoopee!!!
To the person who says it shrinks. Well, that could be but you must have eagle eyes to figure out how much. No I do not put it in the dryer. why would you do that? I wash it out in the sink, soak it in a small bath with 1 tbs of bleach, rinse, then hang off my cabinet door knob to dry. I admit I skipped the bleach soak the last time and none of us got sick.
I kept thinking there had to be something else better out there and I FINALLY found it.
Buy it, you won't regret it.
P.S. I still use the cheap expensive stuff from the grocery store but only for Bouquet garni. I don't mind throwing out a few inches of that stuff, but treat this purchase like gold.

(More customer reviews)I have used many things for brewing tea and have found that this Mesh Tea Ball is the best. I have used the loose tea spoons, which have a closed metal design with little holes all around. The problem with those, is the smaller loose tea pieces escape leaving unpleasant floaties in my drink. I really like the mesh design. Loose tea bits do not escape and it is much easier to fill. I cannot believe I waitied so long before getting one. Now my tea is free from floaties. This mesh design allows more of the tea to be infused by the water....leaving a much more natural and pure taste as opposed to tea bags or metal spoons. Tea bags seem to filter too much sometimes.....metal spoons almost taste metallic at times.
