(More customer reviews)I'm not much of a cook so I value any means of making more flavorful stuff at home. This looks quite delicious in the final moments of cooking (in a pan - stovetop). It smells good, and has some appetizing colors. But looks can be deceiving and the end product is not flavorful at all. This kit does not make a "gourmet" meal.
Also, for how it's marketed (look at that box)... I'd like it to produce a healthier meal. Your healthy future does not involve fried food. I ate half the batch. A serving size (which is just 1/3 of a package) yields 17% of your Total fat, 12% of your saturated fat, 20% of your cholesterol, and 22% of your daily intake of sodium. Yow. You will also make quite a mess in your kitchen using perhaps four dishes to combine the 4 ingredient packets, to ultimately make a meal that is nothing special.
If I'm going to pay 2 to 3x as much for this, I need it to be healthier and/or tastier.
