(More customer reviews)It's not cheap, but it's gooood. Whether you need to drain pasta or filter out the mind control rays from the orbital satellites, this one'll do the job for a long time. Very solid. A little bit heavy, but that's the tradeoff--sure, you can get lighter (and wimpier) colanders, but why run the risk of having your mind being subverted by the CIA because they jack up the power a bit?
Seriously, it's a very good colander. You'll never need another one. The handles are welded on so there's no rivets to fall out, and it's about the right size for the typical pasta mess. Enjoy.

(More customer reviews)The dishdrainer is gray & diffused-white. I purchased the product for its collapsible feature -- to keep it handily and easily out of the way -- for very easy storage.
I am disappointed at the small size of the drainer. I have a rather larger sink. While the expanding handles reach the sink edges and sufficiently support the drainer, there's really not much dish room at all.

It was the best move I could have made! 18/10 stainless, surrounding aluminum on the bottom has kept every meal scorch-free. I feel completely safe using this pressure cooker. It locks easily, and the dial indicating if the pot is at pressure and if it is at high or low pressure is fool-proof. There is nothing complicated about using this pressure cooker. I just can't say enough about this pot. I have cooked professionally, and I have cooked for many years. I would not be exaggerating if I told you that this is the best-loved piece of cookware that I own. Fagor has produced an outstanding product.
