A mild seasoning with chili peppers, Mexican oregano, onion, garlic, salt and a hint of cayenne. It is brownish-orange in color and slightly smaller in particle size than cornmeal. It is a complete mix with thickener, all that is needed is the addition of meat and water. Tone's Taco Seasoning contains no added MSG............Use in any Mexican entree or appetizer: tacos, enchiladas, burritos, dips, taco salads or nachos. Use with ground beef, chicken, turkey or pork to make taco meat. This product can also be added to chili for added flavor. Brown ground beef and drain excess fat. Stir in Tone's Taco Seasoning and water. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Container makes 8 qts and seasons 14 lbs. of meat. 1/4 cup seasoning mixes with 1 lb. of meat and 1 cup of water.

(More customer reviews)A pouch of Taco Bell Taco Seasoning will transform a pound or so of ground beef or turkey into the best burgers you ever tasted in your life! (Great with browned onions on top!) No need for ketchup or mustand -- they are just amazing on their own!
I also use it for a fabulous taco salad dip. Mix it with whipped cream cheese and low-fat sour cream. On the bottom of a serving bowl I spread no-fat refried beans (the regular kind contains lard!!) Over the beans I spread the taco-cream mix, and on top of that I generously sprinkle sliced black olives, diced tomato, shredded lettiuce, shredded low-fat or fat-free cheddar. Put out whatever chips you like to go with it, and it is great!
This is an excellent product with lots of versatility. It tastes wonderful, so use your imagination and come up with your own origianl recipes!

(More customer reviews)The vegetable soups are very tasty but very salty. Although it says two servings per can, I've never eaten just half a can. Therefore my salt intake will vary from 1 to almost 2 grams.
Too bad because I real love the taste of these soups.
