(More customer reviews)This is a great little salt cellar. Unfortunately in this case the key word is little. Really little. If a half dozen of them were purchased so that each person at a dinner party could have their own little personal salt cellar, then I suppose they would be good for that, but as something to store salt in next to the stove for easy use and access, it's just not big enough. Also the lid just kind of sits on top and doesn't really have any ridge to speak of to hold it in place.
