(More customer reviews)I bought the Non-stick, Non-scratch tongs because I bought a new set of pans. I thought they looked really good and functional. Well after a couple of uses, the pin that holds the paddle to the metal handle and paddle fell off . I tried to secure the pin on several occasions, but it won't hold. I've had these for about 1 month, and have to throw them away.
I am assuming mine were defective, since I haven't seen any negative reviews. From now on, I think I will just buy all metal, and be careful not to scratch the pan. I just want to warn consumers to double check the secure-ness of the pins, because those pins are sharp. (I had throw the salad away, since it was lost in the salad)

(More customer reviews)These tongs lived up to my expectations. They are the proper length when deal within very confined hot areas. The do fit in a standard dishwasher and the locking feature is very easy to use. They do stay closed when in the drawer and certainly worth buying.
