(More customer reviews)I bought this to grate my Parmesan Cheese. What a wonderful product. The wheels will finely grate, shred,or shave slices. I'm sure it would be able to grate/shave cold chocolate pieces.
NOTE: To remove the wheels for washing, I cover my fingers with a wash cloth while turning the handle. Don't think it would cut me, but better safe than sorry.

Includes coarse ribbon face, and a slicer. No nutmeg face. Durable, versatile. Reasonably comfy handle. washes well. Great value.

Freshly ground herbs and spices are so much more flavorful than their dried counterparts. The payoff compeletely justifies the small amount of extra effort. This nutmeg grater may also be used for grating chocolate, lemon rind or ginger.
